Highland Casino

Casino had his 1st outing since arriving from Ireland at the Future Event Horse class at the Maryland Horse Trial.  He was a perfect gentleman except when being judged in the ring at which time he got excited and did not demonstrate his lovely paces for the judge!  Given that she never really saw him trot, we are very pleased with his 5th place finish!

  Highland Casino, shown here at 2 weeks of age,  is a bay colt, foaled May 12, 2006.   He was bred by Tina McDermott of Highland View Lodge, Enniskerry.

By Flagmount King, out of a lovely Cavalier Royale mare whose dam is by Clover Hill,  Casino combines the best jumping bloodlines available in Ireland today.  He has also inherited a super temperament from both his sire and dam.

Casino was imported from Ireland thisl as a stallion prospect.    He shows every sign of living up to our hopes and dreams.
