Beautiful Bay Colt by son of Ekstein Ulysses M2S out Ballinclover Penny by Clover Hill.

Sire: Ulysses M2S is a 2001 Stallion by the great Ekstein, ranked 38th in the world for producing International Showjumpers. His most successful progeny are Joel, King, Kasmir and L’Unique. His progeny have won 5 medals in European Young Rider and Junior Championships. His Grandson, Hickstead, not only won an individual gold medal at he 2008 Beijing Olympics, he was also ranked number 1 in the world of International Showjumpers.

Performance: Ulysses M2S won the 2006 Cavan Indoor 5 yr Old Championship and was the 4 yr old Champion at the Euregio Denekamp Stallion show. In 2008 he was placed in 11 CSI** and CSI*** 1.30-1.40m classes. This year he will compete internationally at 1.40-1.50m.

Progeny: The progeny of Ulysses M2S have been sold to Ireland, England and The USA. They have been purchased by International Showjumpers and Dressage riders such as Judy Reynolds, Roberta Spring, Catherine Thornton, Clem Mc Mahon, Greg Broderick and Nevie O’Gorman. Fillies have been purchased by Sakura Hill Farm USA for their breeding program and frozen semen has been sold to Ireland, GB, Belgium, Canada and USA.

Sire’s Dam: Gudrun was a Keur Preferent Prestatie mare that produced 2 Ster mares and 4 International Showjumpers. Her son a stallion named President owned by Princess Haya, the 2001 winner of the stallion test in Italy, the 4yr old Belgium Champion who was declared Elite, and approved by the sBs. One of Gudrun’s Keur daughters, Kretienne, was the KWPN Champion mare ranked 19th best mare in the KWPN. She is the dam of SF approved stallion Taloubet du Rouet Pleville. Her other daughter Cruisly jumps Internationally and has earned Elite-Sport-Showjumping predicate.

Colts Dam: Ballinclover Penny is an Irish Sporthorse Premier Broodmare by the Legendary Clover Hill. He was ranked 4th in the World for producing International Showjumpers. She is out of a mare by Ballinvilla another famous proven Irish bloodline that was ranked 5th in the World for producing Eventers. Ballinclover Penny is proving to be a very successful broodmare. Her progeny include: A 2001 Condios gelding, Loughnavatta Papillo who is an intermediate Eventer that is competing Internationally and who represented Ireland in the 7 yr old class in the World Breeder Championships in 2008. He was also a finalist in the 4 yr old FEHL in 2005 and was a finalist in the 5 yr old Cavan Showjumping Final in 2006.

A 2002 Condios mare, Mis Condia who has over 100 showjumping points, she was 1st in the 5 yr old class in Millstreet in 2007 and also won the Balmoral qualifier the same year. A 2004 Courage gelding who was the Winner of the 4 yr old Light Weight Hunter class in the 2008 RDS Dublin Horse Show. She also has a 2005 Ekstein gelding that will start his showjumping career this year, a 2006 Ekstein filly that has been retained for a breeding program and a 2007 Condios colt that has been chosen for a colt retention scheme.
