Why buy a horse from Windbrook Farm?
At Windbrook Farm we have well bred, well adjusted young horses. As a boutique breeding operation, we have only a few foals each year. Each foal is handled daily. They spend enough time inside that they don’t find stalls stressful but spend the majority of their time outside. They gallop up and down steep hills and wade through and jump over streams. As yearlings they start going to dressage breed shows and Future Event Horse classes. While it is nice to receive ribbons, the real purpose of the outings is to get them accustomed to braiding, trailering and shows. As a result, the first show under saddle is not such a big deal. Horses are given the time they need to become comfortable and happy in their work. Horses bred, imported or produced by us have competed through Intermediate in Eventing and Grand Prix in Dressage.
